Family talk:Isaac Dubois and Neeltje Roosa (1)

Neeltje Roosa was born in 1689 to Heyman Aldertse Roosa and Anna Margriet Van Rosenvelt.

Dutch Reformed Church Records show that she and Johannes Cool had a daughter, Maria Cool, baptized in 1709 with witnesses Willem Cool and Engeltje Rosa.

This would seem a more likely 1st marriage for Neeltje.

And I've also found a Dutch Reformed Church record for "Neeltje Roosa,, widow of Johannes Cool" marrying widower, Willem Dekker in 1725". Banns registered NOV 14. This would seem a likely 2nd marriage for Neeltje .

I believe the Neeltjen Roosa who married Isaac Dubois in 1732 is actually the daughter of Aldert Roosa (son of Heyman Aldertse Roosa and Anna Margriet van Rosenvelt) and Aegjen Krom. Also, when she married Isaac DiBois, the Neeltje born in 1689 would've been 43 years old but the Neeltjen born in 1713 would've been 19 years old, when Isaac was about 29 years old, a more likely
