Is child Bertha, who appears in 1880 census age 4, the same person as Evelyn S, who appears in the 1900 census living with her husband C.E. Frazier and daughter Gladys at her parent's home in West Bath? Evelyn is born in July 1874.

• If she is NOT the same as Bertha, then where was Evelyn during the 1880 census? I haven't found an Evelyn Leeman in the census for 1880.
• If she IS the same person as Bertha, why is Bertha noted at age 4 in 1880 (born 1876) but born in July 1874 (as Evelyn) in 1900?

Evidence:

• Mother (Ora) indicates she has three living children in 1900. If Bertha and Evelyn are the same person, who is the third child?
• There are no marriage records in this period (1892-1900) in the Maine state database for Bertha or Evelyn Leeman.

Possible Solution: Check Bath, West Bath, and/or Auburn vital records for the period.
