Name of Wife [14 July 2021]

A forum posting suggests that "Trijntje Atses" (only to be found in the overlijdensakte of Jelle Harmens Merkus) is a fictitious person created by conflating family names from the family of Jelle's wife Lijsbet Atzes Nicolai.

"Moeder Trijntje Atses" is dus een husseltje van dochter Trijntje en zoon Atse, hoewel die naam bij zijn vrouw wegkwam. Het is dan geen wonder dat je geen huwelijk vindt van een niet bestaande moeder. Huwelijken in Achtkarspelen zijn toch al moeilijk, omdat er veel boeken ontbreken.

I would be happy to change the mother to Unknown if there is no credible source.
