I'm curious about the citation to NEHGR, Vol. 68, 1914, 143 - I've looked at that page, and while it depicts a family in Canterbury, I don't find any relationship to this couple.

Did Gideon & Abigail go to Stillwater, NY? [10 November 2009]

Gideon and Abigail appeared in Pawlet, Vermont, about 1880, when their sons John, Elkanah, Ebenezer, and Joshua, and their daughter Wealthy Ann did. But the four sons, and William, were in Stillwater, Albany (now Saratoga) Co., New York before that. Some of them apparently by around 1770. I have been unable to discover whether the parents joined them there.
