It is suspicious that a precise marriage date is known, but the maiden name of the wife is not. Underhill gives the date of marriage as about abt 1735 and Nathaniel b. 1736 as the oldest child. --Jrich 23:35, 9 January 2012 (EST)

Incidentally, assuming Nathaniel was the oldest child, suggesting it was the wife's father's name since it was given precedence over the husband's name, a good candidate for the wife would be Person:Bethiah Harding (1), d/o Nathaniel Harding and Hannah Collins, b.
