Family talk:Eber Sherman and Honora Brown (1)

David Sherman does not identify Eber's wife's maiden name. It's easy to say Eber's wife was Honora Brown but that is not the same thing as justifying or proving it. I can find no source that gives any supporting evidence, or names parents or gives a birthdate that can be verified. Competing junk sources says his wife is Honora Brownell. Likely one is a miscopy of the other? Until we find what the original basis is, we won't have any idea which is the miscopy, and whether the original copy has any validity. The Brown Memorial, which covers Esek Brown, father of her son's wife Elizabeth Brown, has no mention of a Honora anywhere, and with a descendant, Robert Sherman, marrying a Honora Brown, it is too easy to think that somebody made some sort of inadvertent typo because the name sounded familiar... --Jrich 04:30, 6 April 2014 (UTC)
