Family talk:Daniel Weld and Unknown (1)

I do not believe these are all one family. I think Marah and Mehitable might belong to another family. At first I thought Family:Daniel Weld and Mary Hinsdale (2) because they had a daughter named Mehitable b. 1669 who might be the one whose burial is shown. It still could be because the only reason for thinking not is Sheldon's History of Deerfield which says he lived in Deerfield by 1673, not Roxbury. If that year is off, however, then it still could be. I need to look into this more. But I cannot find any evidence that it is, either so for now, I leave them here.

The three children born in the 1650's might very well belong to Daniel Weld above by an unknown first wife. His birth is unknown but in the early 1630's and if he married about 1655 had some children, his wife died and Mary Hinsdale was his second wife that would all fit, since all other Daniel Weld's seem otherwise accounted for. The son Daniel in 1658 does not appear old enough to be the father of Marah and Mehitable, but it is close... --Jrich 06:43, 4 February 2017 (UTC)
