marriage date is wrong [26 November 2012]

23 Jun 1693 Scituate, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA is certainly not found in Scituate Vital Records. Benjamin signed a deed in 1691 where his wife is named as Hannah, i.e., they were married before 1693. See the GMB entry on Walter Woodworth. Additionally, Benjamin's wife is not Hannah Damon. In passing in an article in TAG (p. 32:203), Paul Prindle mentions that as refuted though details are not provided, as it was merely given as an example of genealogical fallacies that get repeated, even though they are not true. --Jrich 15:54, 26 November 2012 (EST)

This has been corrected. A deed by Hannah Damon's mother to Hannah May in 1728 proved it was not she who married Benjamin Woodworth. --Jrich 21:05, 26 November 2012 (EST)
