would this be consistent with the other information about Albertin and Johannes Van Leeuwen emigrating to the USA in 1871? ie do they show up subsequent to 1871 in the Netherlands? or are they gone?

my mother (daughter of Date and Johanna Bijker/Byker) believes they came from Groningen?

so far I have been unable to connect my Boxem/Boxum and Van Leeuwen ancestors back into the Netherlands

my Hamstra (Anne Hamstra and Grietje Vellema) and Bijker ancestors I can trace far back in Friesland

I am wondering if you can make any similar connection for Albert and Mary Boxum/Boxem who married around 1866 and emigrated to the USA in 1895?--Jhamstra 18:33, 25 May 2011 (EDT)
