[edit] 1850 CensusWilmot W and Susan W Dodge (both age 29) live in Bath. Wilmot W is a mason. William H Lovejoy, age 24 and a carpenter, is also living with the couple. See Person:Wilmot Dodge (1) for census source. [edit] 1860 CensusWilmot W Dodge, age 39, and Susan W Dodge, age 37, live in Ward 7 in Bath, Maine. Wilmot is a mason, with real estate valued at $1,000 and personal estate of $300. Isabella Dodge, age 14, attends school. See Person:Wilmot Dodge (1) for census source. According to the 1900 census, Isabella is not their daughter; she may be a neice. I haven't found an Isabella Dodge in the 1850 census with the correct birth year to be this person. It's also possible Wilmot and Susan adopted Isabella after 1850, and that she married before 1870. I haven't yet found any record of this.--Brenda (kennebec1) 17:56, 25 October 2016 (UTC) [edit] 1870 CensusWilmot W (age 49) and Susan W (age 48) Dodge live in Ward 7 in Bath, Maine. This contradicts some of the census info over the years, as the 1900 census indicated they had married for 51 years, and Wilmot has consistently been one year older than Susan in the census. However, at age 80+ the Dodges can be forgiven for a bit of lack of clarity. Image Gallery
