↑ A Worcester Deed Vol. 65, p. 344 shows William Howard of Holden had a wife Phebe 5 Jun 1771, and the will of Oliver Witt of Hubbardston dated 27 Jun 1805 (Worcester Case 66744) names daughter Phebe Howard, and names son in law William Howard of Paxton is named as one of the executors. (Note: other deeds show William moved to Paxton about 1787, e.g., Vol. 102, p. 224, Vol. 107, p. 153).
