There is a strong possibility that Anne's maiden name was Atkinson. The only marriage for William Dixon in Westmorland between 1877 and 1879 for which there is also an Anne on the same page is in Oct-Dec 1877 (vol. 10b, page 1055)[2]. Two women named Anne are on the same page: Anne Atkinson and Anne Dickinson[2]. There are census records (1861 and 1871) for Anne Atkinson born approx. 1856 or 1857 in Underbarrow, but nothing quite as close for Anne Dickinson.
