Needs to be confirmed at Nottinghamshire Archives for marriage witnesses. Although this marriage could (in terms of time) be the William Bonser baptised at Colston Bassett in 1747/8, it must actually be the William Bonser who had been having children between 1757 and 1766 at Colston Bassett with his wife Elizabeth Cam, who had died in 1766. This is because William's daughter Elizabeth (by Elizabeth Cam) had a son James Lovett who appears in the 1851 census described as nephew of William's son William (by Ann Wild). William's will also refers to children from his marriages to Elizabeth Cam and his son from his marriage to Ann Wild.
