ANNA, b. in Amesbury, Mats. July 28, 1723, d. in Amesbury Feb. 18, 1774, buried in Union Cemetery at Amesbury. Int. Pub. Oct., and m. Nov. 25, 1742, Capt. William Bayley of Newbury, Mass.

On her tombstone is the following inscription:

Here lies Buried
the Body of
Mrs Anna Bayley, Confort
of Capt. William Bayley:
who departed this Life
Febry the 18th 1774. in ye
51ft. Year of Her Age-
The Memory of ye. Juft is Rleffed.


He was a "shipwright" and " joiner." They had:

1. James Bayley, b. in Amesbury, Mass. Sept. 30, 1746, d. in Amesbury Sept. 28, 1822. He was m. twice.

2. Sarah Bayley, b. in Amesbury July 11, 1749.

3. Hannah Lowell Bayley, b. in Amesbury April 3, 1755, d. in Amesbury May 19, 1792. Int. Pub. May 6, 1775, with Daniel Currier Jr., son of Daniel and Electa Currier. Daniel Sr. d. Aug. 19, 1801, aged 87 years and his wife, Electa, d. Sept. 16, 1786, aged 76 years.
