The bride was listed on the marriage record as F. E. Horton. The marriage date of 25 August 1901 was inscribed on their tombstone so Betty is definitely the same woman who married W. O. Elledge. Betty could possibly be a nickname for Elizabeth.

In addition to Gracie, Wiley and Bettie had at least 6 other children as listed on the 1910 and 1920 census records. All were born in Arkansas. They were Bessie born about 1904, Ella born about 1906, Jonnie (daughter) born about 1908, Wyley born about 1910, Tommie (son) born about 1915 and Thurston born about 1919. It is proable that they had more children born after 1920.
