    1828, Sarah V. Hamilton of Kanawha county, Va. He graduated at Washington College in 1821, afterwards studied medicine and located in Bath county, where he worked up a large practice. He was ever fond of his books and possessed a fine library, several volumes of which are owned by the writer, among them is an old Latin-Greek Testament, which shows the marks of age in order to preserve it, it was rebound in calf before leaving his shelves.
