Although the book is labeled Marriage Record, it appears that the date in the "Date" column is the date of the marriage license, since there is another column labeled "WHEN SOLEMNIZED", which is filled in only on some lines and is often later than the date in the "Date" column. There is no entry for the date this marriage was solemnized, but the date given in the "Date" column (Dec. 14, 1867) is understood to be the date of the marriage license.
