    Shirley Dumas Wed

    At the home of Mrs. Lola Knighten Saturday evening occurred the wedding of Miss Shirley Dumas and Virgil Green of Ukiah. Some two-score relatives and close friends of the contracting parties attended the ceremony which was performed by Rev. Richard Morning of Lakeport. The home was made lovely with greenery, ferns and flowers. Judge Lilburn Gibson, uncle of the bride gave the young lady in marriage. The bride wore a dressmaker suit of green wool with brown accessories. Robert Meyers of Ukiah was bst man and Karl Irwin, Jr. of Lakeport sang "Because." Shortly after the ceremony the newlyweds left on a honeymoon.
