George and Nicholas Trout of Augusta County, VA

George and Nicholas Trout were brother that migrated to Augusta County, Virginia. The first records of Nicholas Trout show up in 1751 and records for his brother George show up two years later in 1753. Augusta County records detail how Nicholas Trout met with an untimely and accidental death when a gun that he was using accidentally discharged, killing him instantly, sometime before 17 July, 1753. George and Nicholas migrated to areas of Augusta County close to each other; one migrated to the "Cub Run", the other to the "Pear Run", both areas off of the Shenahdoah River of early Augusta County, Virginia.
