Family tradition handed down to us is that three Crow brothers, William, Thomas and John, there might have been another, James (Item 25 and 26). On account of persecution they left Scotland during the reign of James First and James Second and settled in North Ireland from whence they moved to America and settled in Botetourt County Virginia, known then as Augusta.
