He sheared sheep some in the spring for a few years after coming to Idaho. He also worked some on farms. He and I became acquainted about a year after he came to Idaho. We lived in Blackfoot at the time he came, and later moved back to our home in Thomas. Trene's folks lived in Riverside. We attended dances and socials, and some ward services in Riverside
We were married 2 January, 1901, in the Logan Temple. We farmed very succesflly in Thomas. We were active in church work. Trene was president of Young Men's, or M.I.A. for years in Thomas. They also managed the dances. I was working in Relief Society and also M.I.A. work, and Primary later
