The marriage of Elizabeth Tomson and Thomsa Swift is established by: (a) her father's will, dated 1696, which names daughter Elizabeth Swift and other children, (b) the settlement of the estate of her sister Mercy Tomson, dated 1756, which mentions the children (unnamed) of sister Elizabeth Swift (deceased) and (c), the Suffolk County marriage bond, dated 22 September 1687.
