    THOMAS, Lynn, s. of the preced. m. says Lewis, 29 Sept. 1652, Elizabeth d. of Robert (but I prefer Nicholas) Potter, had Joseph, b. 22 Sept. 1658; Nathaniel, 17 Mar. 1660; Elizabeth 21 Mar. 1662, d. at 3 yrs.; Elisha, 3 Nov. 1665; Elizabeth again, 22 Oct. 1667; Mary, 18 Feb. 1670; Samuel, 19 Nov. 1672.; and Rebecca, 17 July 1675; and he was bur. 1 Apr. 1687, in 57th yr. More descend. remain of this than any other fam. in the town.
    [Note: Nicholas Potter's will of 10 Oct 1677 explicitly names "my daughter Elizabeth Newhall" (see Source:Cooke, Harriet Ruth Waters. Driver Family, p. 55).
