Source:Essex Genealogist (Massachusetts) (Essex Society of Genealogists), Vol. 17, p 45, "Thomas Laughton of Lynn" by Marcia Wiswall Lindberg, says "An entry in Torrey's New England Marriage Prior to 1700 (p. 4540 claims that Thomas Laughton (1612-1698) married SARAH LENTHALL (-1691) at Weymouth, Mass., but no corroboration has been found. Sources given by Source:Torrey, Clarence Almon. New England Marriages Prior to 1700, include:
    Weymouth 3:368, says Rev. Robert Lenthall was invited but never settled as minister of Weymouth, returned to England about 1642. His will in Barnes, County Surrey, England in 1658 says, "To my sister Laughton if liveing a ring of 10s. to be sent over to her." [Note: italics by Chamberlain.]

    Since the above was written: An article on Robert Lenthall in Source:Genealogist (Organization for the Promotion of Scholarship in Genealogy), Vol. 19, p. 226, identifies Sarah Lenthall, bp. 10 Dec 1609 as the person who married Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire 3 Jul 1632 Thomas Laughton (incidentally, cited in passing by Source:Anderson, Robert Charles. Great Migration: Immigrants to New England, 1634-1635, Vol. VI, p. 39).
