↑ The entry for Jonathan Sperry (FANH 7:1667) says that Mehitabel (Downs) Sperry married Thomas Gilbert per Woodbridge church records. Bailey's Early Connecticut Marriages includes marriages in the 1775 time frame for both the First Church, New Haven and the Congregational Church, Woodbridge. Bailey has an entry for this marriage in the New Haven records, but not in the Woodbridge records.
