Disputed Lineages

This Ruth Daggett has been attributed to Thomas Daggette and Hannah Mayhew by multiple GEDCOM uploads. However, if the 1799 date of birth is accurate, the attribution is totally unrealistic.

ii THOMAS, b. say 1632; m. by about 1652 Hannah Mayhew, daughter of THOMAS MAYHEW.
[Note: no explanation is given justifying "about 1652". It is notable that the traditional birth estimate of 1630 found in most sources is changed to 1632, making a marriage in 1652 even less likely.Further, the wife's birth is 1635 making her just 17, also under age. First known child is born in 1658, so a marriage in 1652 followed by 6 years with no children seems unlikely, and begs an explanation.]
