Petition of former widow of Robert Sharp, now Abigail Clapp, dated 24 Apr 1656, requesting appoint of Thomas Mekins and Peeter Aspinwall to be guardians for the chidlren.
[Note: this appears to be the source for the information given by the above source. Note however, that the petition is listed in this source amongst items in 1659, and there is actually nothing found in the actual record book (a copy) between the previously listed inventory of Jacob Sheafe and the subsequently listed inventory of Margaret Johnson. A subsequent petition Vol. 3, p. 67, appears to be a followup and is also signed by Abigail Clapp, but is dated 31 Jan 1656[/57]. 24 Apr 1656 appears to be the date of the original petition and/or court order and is not found.]
