Lydia Garrett … m. in July 1720 Thomas(3) Burges, "both of Sandwich" (Sandwich Tn. Rec.), son of Jacob(2) and Mary (Nye) Burges. … The compiler of The Memorial of the Family of Thomas and Dorothy Burgess (865) fails to show this second marriage for Thomas(3) Burgess. He and his wife Lydia were living in Sandwich 15 July 1737 when they witnessed the will of Joshua Blackwell, sworn 9 Jan. 1737/8 (Barnstable Co. Prob. 5:382).
