Thomas Jefferson Baily was born July 21, 1839 and married Jerusha, no birth date. He passed away October 17, 1868 and Jerusha passed away October 23, 1868. They left three children: Both of them are buried in Bonebrake Cemetery. The children are:
a. Luella Baily born in 1860 and married F.M. Hawkins who was born December 14, 1859 in Millcreek Twp. and passed away February 7, 1887. He was the son of Alvin and Nancy A Teegarden Hawkins. He, I believe is buried in the old Harveysburg Cemetery. She married again but I never was able to find out who her second Husband was. I heard that she married a "Woody" but of this I can't be certain. The children are:
i. Charles F. Hawkins, born in June 1877
ii. Estel P. Hawkins, born in 1878.
iii. James A. Hawkins, born in 1880 and passed away April 26, 1882 and was laid to rest in Millcreek Cemetery. b. Synthia E. Baily, born in 1864.
c. John R. Baily, born in 1868. This was the son adopted by John McDonald Baily.
