... Mr. Carthrae was married on the 4th of December, 1878, to a daughter of Ora Cottle, of St. Charles county, Missouri. His wife, Mrs. Mattie B. Carthrae, is a lady of fine sense, and like her husband, is greatly esteemed by all who know her. They have two children: Dotia, and Jay St. John Carthrae.
