Silvester Fisher of Warwick & Lydia Jones of Charlestown intend Marriage [sic, no month given] 21: 1798.
[Note: this is between intentions dated 16 Jan 1798 and 18 Mar 1798, so the month could be Jan or Feb.]

  2. In one of the more glaring errors in a book full of errors, Allred, p. 155, says Lydia is buried Warwick Cemetery in 1853 and her "death record says she was single"! That she would think a woman buried under the name Lydia Jones, whose death record says she is single and born in Phillipston, would be the wife of Sylvester Fisher, i.e., who should be buried as Lydia Fisher; called "of Charlestown" in her marriage record, not Phillipston, can only be explained as confusion. In 1843 Sylvester and Lydia executed a deed in Richland County, Ohio (Vol. 26, p. 472). Possibly they are the two older people living with Joseph Fisher in Green, Ashland, Ohio the 1850 census (lines 39-40), though the birth locations seems off.
