Simon Whitmarsh m. "near 1665" Sarah Holbrook. Capt. John Holbrook's 1699 will called Smon Whitmarsh his son-in-law and Simon Jr. his grandson.
[Note: Simon's birth is represented as unknown, but Ruth is shown b. 1667, and it appears there is an assumption Simon was oldest to account for a marriage by 1665. This source actually lists Simon under the second wife because he was "alive 12 July, 1699", but he wouldn't have been named in the will of John Holbrook unless he was a child of the first wife.]
