    "Silas Richmond, jr., born perhaps 1738, lived at Goshen until 1799, then removed to Alford, Mass., where he died 18 Sept, 1810. We expect to show that he married first, at Goshen, 29 Mar. 1762, Hannah (Wadhams) Tuttle, born at Wethersfield, Conn., 24 Aug. 1721, died at Goshen 5 Mar. 1799 (gravestone, not quite in agreement with birth record, as it calls her aged 76), widow of Timothy Tuttle, a woman seventeen years his senior and already the mother of eleven Tuttle children;
