- ↑ Presumably this unsourced date comes from Dalton, Mass. VRs, p. 53, which says "Silas "lately of Conway but now resident at Pittsfield & Dalton alternately," and Irena Abbee, int. Nov. 20, 1790." Is Irena Abbee the same as Lavina Abbott (and which spelling is the more correct representation), or an earlier wife, or is this a different man? It would seem like the description in Heverly, p. 196, indicates he left Massachusetts for NY before this date, and so this might be a different man.
