Marriage Bond

Know all men by these presents that ___ __ of Matry? George Wilson all of the County of Ashe and State of North Carolina __ held and firmly bound unto his Excellency the __ of the state aforesaid in the penalty sum of five hundred pounds ___ to which payment will and formly __ our heirs Executors and administrators firmlly and severaally by these presents seats with over seal and dated __ of October D1829.
The Condition of the above obligation is such the above bounded Shadrek Estep hath made after for mariag lisens to be granted between him the said Shadrick Estep and Rutha Estep. Now if their be no just cause to obstruct said marriag but it be lawful then the above obligation to be Void otherwise to remain in full force and Virtue in law.
