  2. ↑ The Hugh Wallis family bible says that Samuel Wallis never married and that appears to be correct based on the wills of Samuel and Bathsheba and Philips's not inheritating the family land his father held.
    On 17 Oct 1783 the Kent County Orphans Court removed Bathsheba as guardian of her minor children. This may be when she begain co-inhabating with Samuel Wallis.
