Thomas [sic] Phillips of Weston and Abigail Gale of Watertown were married in Watertown by Rev'd Wareham Williams 1735 July 25.[2]

The name of Thomas in the marriage record is almost surely an error, as it disagrees with other sources. Also, Source:Town of Weston : births, deaths and marriages, 1707-1850, 1703-gravestones-1900, church records, 1709-1825; appendix and addenda, Cent Society, gleanings from the, p. 36, it says: "Abigail Phillips the Daughter of Samuel Phillips and Abigail His Wife Was Born In Weston March the 7th. 1735-6.", further suggesting Samuel is the correct name.
