[Note: despite the "possibly" qualifier, this article presents a pretty clear case for this identification. A deed 2 Jun 1747 (Middlesex deed vol. 50, p. 348) shows Elizabeth Gowing was at that time wife of Samuel Parker of Lynn, and the son Samuel Parker Jr. is shown marrying his wife Hannah in 1725 and she executed a deed with him in 1748 ruling him out as the Samuel Parker who married Elizabeth.]
