↑ Source:Pope, Charles Henry. Merriam Genealogy in England and America, p. 47, gives the date of marriage as 25 Apr 1671. This particular date does not seem to be anywhere in the Lynn marriages, though, so it is not clear where it came from. It is probably a copying error, as it does not leave enough time prior to the birth of their eldest child 5 months later, on 30 Sep 1671. There is a marriage in Concord of "Roger Chandler & mary Simonds" on 25 Apr 1671, recorded on the same page of the Concord records as the birth of their eldest child, but the names are not even similar, so it doesn't seem likely that this record was the source of confusion.
