"A likely candidate for Sarah's second husband was Samuel Marsh who died in Windsor 24 Oct l749, but a positive identity is lacking. He may have been the Samuel Marsh born 11 Feb 1670, probably in Hadley, and was the son of Samuel and Mary (Allison) Marsh. He was of comparable age, and seems to have an incomplete record in the Marsh Genealogy (Marsh:229). … in December 1724, 'widow Sarah Pinney' deeded land to her son Noah. However, in a fence agreement dated 1 Apr 1736 between Daniel Pinney, Noah Pinney and Peletiah Allyn, Noah refers to the bide or bode of 'my Mother Sarah Marsh.' Sarah (Clark) Pinney remarried then, sometime between Dec 1724 and Apr 1736."
