Family:Samuel Kincaid and Unknown (1)

The Family Group Records shows John Kincaid as the son of Samuel Kincaid. John the Weaver Kincaid's relationship with John the Clerk Kincaid suggests a family relationship (but does not prove it.) If John The Weaver Kincaid is the son of Samuel Kincaid, the uncle of David Kincaid, that would make John The Weaver Kincaid the grandson of Sir James Kincaid, 5th Laird of Scotland. If this connection has been disproven, please let me know. I am new to the Kincaid line.
