    [Question about date interpretation is in the original. March was the first month of the year, so March 1664 (see Scituate recordS4) is at least as likely to mean March 1663/64 as March 1664/65. Birth of son Samuel on 28 Mar 1665 also suggests 1663/64 is the right answer. As 28 Mar is after New Years Day (25 Mar), 28 Mar 1665 does not use double dating, and would only be 13 days after 15 Mar 1664/65.]
