1780. May 31, Samuel Hill and Jemima Wheeler, both of Hollis.
This marriage is also given by both Source:Wheeler, Albert Gallatin. Genealogical and Encyclopedic History of the Wheeler Family in America, and Source:Spaulding, Charles S. Account of Some of the Early Settlers of West Dunstable, Monson and Hollis, New Hampshire, but no mention of Samuel Hill(s) with a wife Jemima, or any children born to Samuel and Jemima, or of Jemima Hill(s), can be found. Perhaps, all these sources simply copied from Worcester? Therefore, it is slightly disconcerting that a marriage of Samuel Hills and Asenath Scott is recorded in Swanzey, NH, on the exact same date, as if Worcester copied the names from one line, but the date from another, etc. More evidence would be helpful... Samuel Hill is mentioned by Worcester several times having a role in the Revolution, but nothing that identifies his origin, where he resided after his marriage, when he died, etc.
Neither is any marriage for Jemima Wheeler found. Her father died before this date, so mentions daughter Jemima Wheeler, so no clue.
