↑ The gap of over four years until their first child is unusual. Online, the only images available are a handwritten copy of the original records (p. 52). The source of the published records is unknown, but one has to wonder if the year of marriage might have been 1724, and misread? As there is no record of a daughter Rebecca, but one might be expected, an alternate possibility is an unrecorded birth in the intervening period.
