  1. ↑ Winthrop, ME, records clearly show Samuel Fogg had a wife Charlotte who was born in Sanbornton, NH, in 1793. There is another marriage here between a Samuel Fogg and a Charlotte Wilkinson in 1816 which could be confusing to researchers because this couple's child is born in 1818. That Charlotte d. 1873 (line 245) with a birth place in Gilford, N.H., so is the wrong Charlotte. The wrong couple has children Minella, Lavinia and Frank (see 1850 census, lines 22-26, marriage record of Frank).
