  3.   No conclusive identification of Sarah has been found. Because she had 4 children between her marriage in 1753 and her husband's death in 1758, she probably was a younger woman, and may be the Sarah Emerson b. 1724, d/o Thomas and Sarah Emerson. She probably died before 1790 when her husband's probate shows that the widow's dower was divided among the daughters.
