- ↑ The will of Samuel Walker, dated 2 Sep 1744, mentions daughter Sarah Buck deceased (see NEHGR, p. 57:355). Based on the death of Abigail Buck in 1720, and the marriage of Samuel Walker of Sutton in 1742, he appears to be the man who married in 1721 Sarah Walker who was deceased before 1744. Note, however, that the last child of Samuel Buck and Hannah --- is born in 1719, so while there is no explicit death record for Hannah, it is not conclusive that his wife Hannah was living in 1721, and this 1721 marriage could very well be him. So, this is speculative and needs further evidence. It follows Source:Gould, Ethel E. Beieler. Genealogy of Joseph Teel and Mary Stetson Alexander, Their Ancestors and Descendants, p. 280, but as that source thinks Sarah outlived Samuel ("married second to Jacob Winn on 3 March 1743" when her father's will says Sarah Buck is deceased), it is clearly not all that reliable. Further evidence is found in the naming of children of Samuel Walker of Sutton (particularly Abigail and Judith and James).
