    [Nov'r 25th 1744] "The Day above mentioned, The Desire of ... Samuel Bayley ... Brethren of the Church of Christ in Lancaster was according to y'r Desire, made Known by ye Pastor to said Church, whose Desire was as follows, viz: That they might obtain a dismission from us and a Recommendation to ye Covenanting Brethren in ye West or Second Precinct in Lancaster ... Upon which, this was (in Proper Time) done by ye Pastor."
