    NILES -- Maxene Virginia Feirick, 82, of U.S. 12 East, died at 7:07 a.m. Monday (April 3, 2006) at Regency Place, South Bend, after an illness.

    She was born July 23, 1923, in South Bend to Ross L. and Inez B. (Wright) Renwick. She married Elroy H. "Slim" Feirick Sr. He died Nov. 9, 1998.

    She is survived by <names of living individuals have been removed;> 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Keith Feirick; one daughter, Penny Makela; and one grandson, Craig Makela.

    Friends may call two hours prior to the 2 p.m. Thursday funeral service at Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, 26863 W. Main St., Edwardsburg. Pastor Dan Miller of Niles Missionary Church will officiate. Burial will be in Adamsville Cemetery.

    Mrs. Feirick was a homemaker and had lived all of her life in the Michiana area.
