    Snapdragons and ferns decorated St. George's Anglican church for the marriage yesterday evening of Iren Helen Joan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Wallace Gibson, and LAC Ronald Bruce Gienow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Gienow of Yorktown, Sask.

    Rev. H. C. Vaughan officiated at the ceremony, and Mr. and Mrs. W. Neilwere organist and soloist respectively.

    Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an afternoon dress of turquoise taffeta with lace bodice, square neckline and cap sleeves. Her accessories were white and she carried a white prayer book with streamers. Deep cream roses en corsage completed her ensemble.

    Her attendants were Miss Frances Ferguson and Miss Patricia Gunn, and LAC Al Metson was best man.

    Mr. and Mrs. Gienow left on a wedding trip to Montreal and Quebec following a reception at the home of the bride's parents. For travelling, the bride wore a suit of claret gabardine with green accessories and corsage bouquet of roses.

    The newly weds will make their home in Ottawa.
